The Zuks of Arizona February 2012 run was to Tip Top and Milk Ranch. In Tip Top we stopped by the A-Frame right above tip top and later we went past Tip Top to check out all the old mining equipment left behind. After we got done exploring the Tip Top area we headed even further back to Milk Ranch, the road was rougher then I remembered, it took about 2 hours with several breaks to drive from the metal shed in Tip Top to Milk Ranch but it was totally worth it for the views and the scenery.

Can you tell me if Milk Ranch via Tip Top, would be accessible via a lifted 4 X 2 Tacoma with Large Tires? I’d like to get up there, but can’t find anything to help me make up my mind. Thanks!
I wouldn’t suggest, you should be fine all the way up until the descend down to Milk Ranch the road get pretty hairy without the 4×4. I’d hike down and see for your self if you feel comfortable driving up the rough patches of the road.
